乘风好去，长空万里，直下看山河。斫去桂婆娑，人道是、青光更多。

The full autumn moon glitters high,
Just as a flying mirror polished bright.
I toast to beautiful Chang’e and sigh,
Why have you made my hair turn white?
My good times gone with age and endless night,
I want to ride the wind and fly with joy,
Ten thousand miles down and what a grand sight,
Such mountains and rivers my spirit would do buoy.
The moon’s swaying trees grow wild and all annoy,
The leaves your light obscure and do us wrong,
But as if to steal new youth I’ve hatched a ploy:
I’ll cut them down and send more light along.
For this, men all around would highly praise,
As if we returned to youth and brighter days.

Brillant tel un miroir poli au firmament
La lune projette une lumière dorée
Portant mon verre je demande à la Chang’e
Pourquoi le temps s’envole si rapidement
Ne me laissant que des cheveux bancs délaissés
Tombant vainement tout le long de mes membres

Un espejo volante, bien lustrado, ilumina el cielo despejado.
La hada que tiene su morada en la luna,
querría bajar para tomar este vaso de vino conmigo.
Con un claro de luna caído desde el firmamento,
mis cabellos se han vuelto canos.
Que el viento me lleve al cielo, para que pueda,
desde allá, contemplar mi querida patria.
Si pudiera cortar los laureles que, con sus sombras,
empaan el claro de luna, más luces arrojaría.
